Celebrate Bob Barker's 93rd Birthday With Our Favorite ‘Price Is Right’ Moments
This week marks Bob Barker’s 93rd birthday! And the legacy of the distinguished former host of The Price Is Right seems as cemented in place as it did when he passed the skinny mic to reigning host Drew Carey nearly a decade ago. Let’s be real — Superfan TV just wouldn’t be the same without The Price Is Right‘s retro-wacky charm. So to celebrate the O.G. M.C. Skinny Mic, we decided to share our favorite Bob Barker moments in this special compilation.
Bob’s famous passion for animal philanthropy, marked by his episode-closing reminder to “spay and neuter your pets,” is still going strong. Since his retirement in 2007, he has donated over a million dollars to animal organizations, even footing the bill to relocate three African elephants from Canada to a more suitable home in a Los Angeles sanctuary.
He’ll always be known in our hearts, though, as the man whose name is inextricably linked with the phrase, “One dollar, Bob!”
