Celebrities smoke, stress eat and drink amid wait for presidential election results

Voting is over but the great wait is on for the winner of the 2020 presidential election between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Despite what’s been said, there’s no winner yet in the race as many absentee ballots are being tabulated — and everyone is impatient, including celebrities. There’s been stress eating, drinking, smoking and — luckily, because we can all use some lightheartedness — a few jokes amid the largely liberal crowd in Hollywood.

Jimmy Kimmel compared the wait for a winner to having surgery sans anesthesia.

Whitney Cummings quipped that it’s more stressful than waiting for a positive or negative.

Molly Sims compared it to a paternity reveal on Maury.

Hilary Duff joked it was like waiting for STD test results.

Sharon Stone cried to get out her emotions.

Cardi B had not one, not two, but three smokes — at once.

Heidi Klum had her beat by a few.

Monica Lewinsky reported that she would be smoking, too.

Ryan Seacrest did some stress eating.

Mindy Kaling worked on “an entire cheesecake.”

Olivia Culpo and Duff too.

Chrissy Teigen did some stress cooking. “Everything’s fine. Everything’s fine. Don’t worry about us, we’re fine,” she said in a video from her kitchen while making guacamole.

Busy Philipps did a combo of crying, stress eating and dancing.

Roma Downey was also “out of control snacking.”

There was drinking. Jennifer Aniston shared a Baby Yoda cocktail, saying, “May the force be with us,” along with praying hands and cocktail emojis.

Kevin McHale was walking while drinking around his neighborhood to combat insomnia.

Randy Rainbow also had booze on the brain.

Patton Oswalt joked about just getting drunk — and staying that way until Sunday.

He also joked about raiding the medicine cabinet.

While Trump incorrectly claimed victory on Tuesday, the wait continues as ballots are counted in states including Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, and Biden remained hopeful.
