Celebrity chef Richard Blaise is opening six restaurants in Arizona.
The first winner of "Bravo's Top Chef: All Stars," Blais is a chef, restaurateur, TV personality and James Beard-nominated cookbook author. His most recent television appearance is alongside Gordon Ramsay on Fox's "Next Level Chef."
The restaurants are part of $110 million of renovations and rebranding at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, which are scheduled to be complete in Fall 2024.
What restaurants does Richard Blais own?
Blais founded fine dining restaurant Juniper and Ivy and casual fried chicken restaurant Crack Shack in San Diego. He currently owns California English in San Diego, Four Flamingos in Key West and Orlando and Ember and Rye in Carlsbad. The six new restaurants in Scottsdale will be his first in Arizona.
What Richard Blais restaurants are opening in Arizona?
The six restaurants include an Italian American concept focused on hand-made pastas and charcoal grilled steaks, seafood and chops. The bar and lounge will focus on Italian wines. The space is connected to the resort's Desert Garden.
The second concept is a sushi and Spanish tapas bar, which will incorporate Southwestern ingredients.
The third restaurant, connected to the lobby, will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on Southwest-style grilling and "the best produce, meats, and seafood from the regional area," according to a press release. It will be connected to the fourth concept, a lobby bar with a stylish, classic vibe.
The fifth is H2Oasis, a poolside eatery with island-inspired tacos and frozen cocktails.
The sixth concept is also poolside and will feature a menu of gourmet burgers, fries and crispy chicken tenders.
The restaurants are expected to open by fall 2024.
