Celebrity Kids at the Emmys Over the Years: Photos
We know that the future of Hollywood is very bright with the number of young and talented artists that are building their careers. Over the years, a number of burgeoning young stars made their debut on the red carpet, and it feels almost like no other red carpet during awards season has seen more young talent than the Primetime Emmy Awards.
Dating back decades, teens and tweens have proven that they can hold their own on the red carpet. Some young stars have made history at the Emmys earning nominations and even the coveted statuette, while others made it the perfect launching pad for their red-carpet debut. Then, of course, there were some celebrity kids who attended the awards show with their famous parents!
All-in-all, we’d say that these celebrity kids showed that they had the talent and poise to be among some of the most well-known stars in Hollywood. But this isn’t a new trend. In fact, back in 1977, Kristy McNichol became one of the youngest Emmy Award winners in the Television Academy’s history. She was just 15 years old when she earned her statuette for Outstanding Continuing Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the show Family. Years later, more and more young stars made names for themselves at the Emmy Awards by being integral parts of the shows that earned raves and nominations.
Before the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 12, see more photos of celebrity kids who’ve attended the Emmys over the years.
