Celebrities form quarantine crews amid coronavirus outbreak: Who is hunkering down together?
Celebrities are taking to social media to share support for their followers and to warn them to stay home during the coronavirus outbreak. However, taking measures to self-quarantine doesn’t have to mean missing out on fun, according to some stars who have hunkered down with a group of friends or family in order to stay sane while socially distancing.
Bachelor Nation favorites Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown are two to have caught the most attention when they both appeared on a new TikTok channel called “The Quarantine Crew.” Along with Cameron’s brother, Ryan, friend Matt James, and a few others, the exes have been making videos while staying in Cameron’s hometown in Jupiter, Florida.

Followers have expressed mixed reactions to the videos, which show them partying on a boat, playing on the beach and dancing by Cameron’s pool. However, as one person on Twitter points out, the crew seems to be fewer than 10 people, which aligns with guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Still, they aren’t the only ones having their fun and sharing it on social media. Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are two others who have settled in with their famous friends Kaia Gerber, Tommy Dorfman and Margaret Qualley during the pandemic. And although the group has remained in close proximity to one another, they have seemingly maintained social distance from others.
In the meantime, they’ve created plenty of social media content as well, including a collection of TikTok videos from the house that they’re all staying in.
Many others have remained indoors with their immediate families. For Mariah Carey, however, it seems that her makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle, has joined her, her boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, and her 8-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, in quarantine. The five of them did a #fliptheswitch challenge video on St. Patrick’s Day.
Ciara and Russell Wilson have similarly posted a group dance while at home with their children and Wilson’s sister, Anna Wilson. According to Anna’s Instagram stories, the family’s personal chef is also still at the house.
Ellen DeGeneres has taken a different approach. She’s home with her animals while joking that she’s even maintained six feet of distance between herself and her wife Portia de Rossi. And instead of socializing with others in person, she’s taken to phone calls to catch up with friends.
