Celine Dion Embraces ‘French Girl’ Style in Dior Dress in Paris Ahead of 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony Performance
Celine Dion went Parisian-chic while out in the City of Light on Wednesday. The singer is expected to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics on Friday.
For her outing, Dion selected a black puff-sleeve midi dress with a flared skirt from Dior’s fall 2023 collection. She accessorized with cap-toe mesh slingbacks from the French label, completing her look with small hoop earrings.

Wearing her dirty blond tresses in a sleek bun, Dion kept her makeup minimal.
Lady Gaga and French pop singer Aya Nakamura are also expected to take the stage during Friday’s opening ceremony. This year’s Olympics take place through Aug. 11. The 2024 Games mark the centenary of the 1924 Paris Olympics.
Earlier this month, Dion wore Gucci while attending the 2024 NHL Draft. She announced the first pick for her hometown’s team, the Montreal Canadians, in a short-sleeve button-up and a monogrammed belted midi skirt. She also added on a pendant necklace and peep-toe pumps.
Dion wore her dirty blond tresses in a wavy middle part, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush and a shimmery pale pink lip.
Russian hockey player Ivan Demidov was named as the Montreal Canadians’ first draft pick of the season, with Dion posing alongside him following the announcement.
While Parisian dressing has always been in vogue, “French girl” trends have taken off on TikTok in recent years, with a new generation embracing chic minimalism, both in style and beauty.
