British rapper Central Cee will soon see the release of his debut Nike collaboration, and it couldn’t be more on brand.
The Central Cee x Nike Air Max 95 will release in just over a week alongside a matching Tech Fleece set. The Air Max 95 is clad in black and gold, with the latter color appearing sparingly on the eylet and tongue striping, Air Max units and branding marks. Scant previews through an official campaign video and a lone leaked image haven’t shown the sneaker in full, so it’s not yet clear if the Air Max 95 will bear any special marks for Central Cee. It will, however, come with removable keychains featuring the Syna World logo and replicating his “Live Yours” chain.
Central Cee is well known for rocking Tech Fleece jackets and pants, and his own set will arrive in black with gold branding on the chest featuring Nike’s logo on the left and his own clothing label, Syna World, on the right. The choice in sneakers is also a natural counterpart to the sweats for the British “roadman” look favored by many a grime rapper.
Since releasing his debut mixtape in 2021, Central Cee has been a breakout star in the U.K. His first two mixtapes debuted at second and first, and his 2023 single “Sprinter” featuring Dave now holds the record for longest-running no. 1 rap song in the country. Central Cee’s Syna World label has also garnered a rabid following and has drawn comparisons to Corteiz, the U.K.’s hottest streetwear brand for the last several years and which has also collaborated on the Air Max 95.
The Central Cee x Nike Air Max 95 and its accompanying Tech Fleece set will release October 24, likely through the websites for Syna World and JD Sports, as well as the Snkrs app. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
