Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan’s Divorce Was Finalized at a Telling Time for the Former Couple
By now, it’s far from news that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are no longer together. After all, Tatum is now engaged to Zo? Kravitz while Dewan is engaged and shares two kids with Steve Kazee. But, while we all know about their split, some might be surprised to hear that Tatum and Dewan’s divorce was only finalized this week, after six long years of back and forth.
First reported by Daily Mail, Tatum and Dewan, who clashed over the rights to the Magic Mike franchise in their divorce proceedings, settled their divorce on Sept. 25. According to the documents, the former couple mutually agreed to waive spousal support from one another and agreed to work out any future disagreements privately with a judge.

The settlement comes at an interesting time for the couple. Before that, they were set to go to trial over their case in court in December. Now, the trial is off.
Looks like both parties agreed that going to trial would take things a little too far.
As a reminder, Tatum and Dewan, who were married from 2009 to 2018, share their 11-year-old daughter, Everly.
Before their divorce was officially settled, things had gotten heated between them in court. In August, Tatum sounded frustrated as he stated that Dewan continued “to delay resolution and provides one reason after another for why this case cannot settle,” documents obtained by InTouch Weekly stated. The Blink Twice star then reiterated that he wanted to “settle all issues in this matter without litigation.” Looks like he got his wish!
As for what these two were disagreeing on, it all had to do with the Magic Mike franchise, which includes three moves, a stage musical, a reality TV series, and a Las Vegas show. As fans of Tatum know, the actor built much of that empire during his marriage to Dewan. As a result, Dewan then wanted her fair share. While the number will remain undisclosed, we’re glad they can finally turn the chapter!
