Charli XCX Enlists Billie Eilish for a ‘Guess’ Remix, and the Video Is So Brat

Charli XCX? Billie Eilish? “Guess” but it’s a remix? A pile of women’s underwear? Brat.

In fact, the only thing more Brat Summer than this new collaboration and music video would be a Kamala Harris cameo. But we can’t always get what we want.

On August 1, Charli XCX released a remix of her Brat bonus track “Guess,” this time featuring Billie Eilish. The “Guess featuring Billie Eilish” remix was released alongside a new music video, which was shot in a carpeted, dingy living room and what looks to be the parking lot behind a warehouse. In other words, it’s so Brat.

TL;DR

She’s so Kamala.

The remix is also pretty queer thanks to Eilish’s new verse, giving Brat Summer (which had always been queer coded, to be honest) a more explicit gay anthem. On the remix of the song, which is, in so many words, about guessing the color of Charli’s underwear, Eilish sings, “Don’t have to guess the color of your underwear/ Already know what you’ve got goin’ on down there… I saw them when you sat down, they were peekin’ out/ I’m gonna tell you right now, they’re all I’m thinkin’ about.”

She also sings, “Charli likes boys but she knows I’d hit it,” which is like, so gay, dude.

Starring Charli XCX and Billie Eilish, “Guess,” the music video, is a delightful, cheeky romp through an obstacle course of colorful undies. Watch it below:

If your heart dropped, like mine did, at the sight of so many panties and bras being used as props, fret not: All unworn undergarments were donated to victims of domestic violence through I Support the Girls, a nonprofit that distributes bras, underwear, and period products to “women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress,” according to its website.

“Guess” was originally released on Charli XCX’s deluxe version of Brat, which was helpfully titled Brat and It’s the Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not.” It’s the fifth song to be remixed with a guest feature, following “The Von Dutch Remix With Addison Rae and A. G. Cook,” “The Von Dutch Remix With Skream and Benga,” “The 360 Remix With Robyn and Yung Lean,” and “The Girl, So Confusing Version With Lorde.”

Anyway, I can’t wait to see what Kyle MacLachlan does with this song. IYKYK.
