Charlie Wilson, Morris Day show at Landers Center canceled
A Landers Center concert featuring R&B stars Charlie Wilson and Morris Day has been canceled.
The show, which had been set for Sept. 8 as part of the entertainment lineup for the annual Southern Heritage Classic celebrations, was scrapped Thursday, according to event promoter Fred Jones. No reason for the cancellation was given.
Those who bought tickets can get refunds at their point of purchase. Credit card purchases will be refunded automatically via Ticketmaster.
A Southern Heritage Classic concert from Grammy-winning R&B singer, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer and soul music legend Gladys Knight, who will headline the Orpheum on Sept. 7, will go on as planned.
