BROTHER’S GONNA WORK IT OUT: Now that it is in its seventh week atop Billboard’s country albums chart, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” (Mercury) is tied for the third-longest running No. 1 soundtrack album in the history of this chart. The champ is “Hope Floats,” which reigned for nine weeks. “Urban Cowboy” is in second place, with an eight-week run. And tied with “O Brother” is a soundtrack still popular enough to be No. 2 on the chart: “Coyote Ugly” (Curb) also had a seven-week run at the top.

WHO SHE IS: Country teen star Jessica Andrews collects her first No. 1 hit, as “Who I Am” (DreamWorks) replaces Diamond Rio’s “One More Day” on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. “Who I Am” is Andrews’ fifth song to chart, but the first to make the top-10 — or even the top-20. RENAISSANCE MAN: Lionel Richie returns to The Billboard 200, entering at No. 62 with his Island label debut, “Renaissance.” Richie’s album chart span expands to 26 years and eight months, dating back to the debut of the Commodores’ “Machine Gun” album in August 1974. Richie made his first solo album appearance in October 1982 with an eponymously-titled set.
