Check out Tee Grizzley's latest visual for "One of One"
On Wednesday (Feb. 7), Tee Grizzley dropped off a new visual for “One of One,” a MIA JAY C and Hitmaka-produced cut that proves how much the rapper is still dedicated to the grind.
“Who in my way? Nobody/ Who can take my place? Nobody/ Who got somethin’ to say? Everybody/ Who gon’ say it to my face? Nobody/ Who gon’ take this case for me? Nobody/ My bills late, who gon’ pay ’em for me? Nobody/ If I’m down bad, stuck, who gon’ be there for me? Nobody/ How I know? ‘Cause I was down bad and ain’t see nobody…”
Directed by Jerry Production and Lo-Tickets, the accompanying clip began with a shot of Tee Grizzley assisting a professional fighter in a boxing gym. The Detroit emcee also made stops in other locations, including a restaurant and a clothing shop.
“One of One” is the latest single from Tee’s Coney Island, which arrived in November 2023 with 16 cuts and contributions from the likes of 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, Finesse2Tymes, Cordae, and City Girls. Days after its initial release, fans received a deluxe edition of the album with four extra songs, including the bittersweet “What’s That?” with PnB Rock.
During an appearance on REVOLT’s “Assets Over Liabilities,” Tee Grizzley was asked about his breakthrough single, 2016’s “First Day Out,” and if he knew the song would have such an impact on his career.
“Naw. I always had a passion for rapping, for music, but I never saw myself being a part of Hip Hop history,” he said. “I never thought I’d be the one to open the door for a whole new era in the city. It was all a surprise to me.” He also acknowledged and shared his appreciation for JAY-Z‘s co-sign of the viral hit.
