Chief Keef Postpones Entire Tour Hours Before It Begins Due To “Medical Emergency”

Unfortunately, Chief Keef had to postpone his entire A Lil Tour due to a mysterious “medical emergency” hours before it kicked off in Boston.

On Tuesday (July 16), the Chicago rapper took to Instagram to regretfully inform his fans of the news.

“To my fans, I’m so sorry to announce this, but due to a medical emergency, I’ve been ordered to stay home to recover, so I have to postpone the tour,” the statement read. “Those who bought tickets can opt for a refund or keep it for a future date. I intend to be back on the road soon. Thank you, I love y’all.”

“For health reasons I’m postponing the tour until later this year. Be on the road real soon!” he wrote on his IG Story the following day.

The A Lil Tour was announced back in May and was set to hit 17 cities including Detroit, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and more.

Lil Gnar and The Glo Boyz were lso scheduled to appear as special guests on select dates.

Sosa’s tour follows the release of his fifth studio album Almighty So 2 which includes musical assistance from G Herbo, Lil Gnar, Tierra Whack, Quavo, and Sexyy Red.

Back in May, he spoke with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about his growth as a rapper and man overall.

“I’m about to be 29 years old. Man, I came in at 16 years old. I was just young,” he began. “The street life and everything that came with that had me in a [chokehold]. So, when I moved to LA, I started getting better as a person. So, it took for me to come to LA to grow out of what I was.”

He added, “Now, I’m even talking. You couldn’t get me to f**king talk in an interview.”

It seems that everything has been on the up-and-up for Chief Keef, and hopefully he recovers soon.
