Childish Gambino Announces Two Final Albums During An Instagram Live
American rapper Childish Gambino also known by the real name Donald Glover has made a big announcement on GILGA Radio’s Instagram Live, the rapper revealed that he will release his two final albums soon. The first release would be a polished version of his 2020 album “3.15.20”, but this time it will be called “Atavista”. Then there’s another treat in store: a recent project called “Bando Stone and The New World.”
The album is also the soundtrack to his upcoming film of the same name.“We’re releasing Atavista, but after that, there’s the final Childish Gambino album — a soundtrack for the fans” he said.
Although he didn’t say when exactly the albums will hit the shelves, he did promise to make a music video for his song “Little Foot.” Big Foot” (formerly “35.31”), directed by his longtime friend Hiro Murai.
Childish Gambino ‘This Is America’
During the stream, Childish Gambino gave fans a taste of what’s to come by playing some previously unheard songs. He even collaborated with Atlanta rapper Young Nudy called “Little Foot Big Foot”.
Due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Childish Gambino decided to release “3.15.20” as it is without any fancy mixing or mastering, because of the uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. He took a moment to thank his fans for their endless support, dedicating the upcoming album to them.
Recently, Gambino joined Tyler the Creator on the Coachella 2024 stage where they delighted the crowd with the collaboration “TIME OUT”.With all these exciting developments, it is clear that Childish Gambino will make a bigger comeback and make a mark on the music scene before retiring from the rap scene.
