Childish Gambino includes Aug. 15 stop at Schottenstein Center on world tour

Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Childish Gambino ? also known as actor, comedian, writer, director and producer Donald Glover ? is to stop at the Schottenstein Center on Aug. 15 during his upcoming world tour.

Tickets for "The New World Tour" are on sale at thenewworldtour.com.

In tandem with his tour announcement, Gambino surprised fans with the May 12 release of "Atavista," a reimagined version of his 2020 album "3.15.20" featuring two new tracks, "Atavista" and "Human Sacrifice."

Gambino, who took his stage name from a Wu-Tang Clan name generator, has a discography comprising four studio albums, four EPs and 14 mixtapes.

His Grammy wins include best traditional R&B performance for the song "Redbone" in 2018 and song of the year, record of the year, best rap/sung performance and best music video for 2019's "This is America."

As Donald Glover, he has written for and appeared in numerous television shows including "30 Rock" and "Atlanta," winning five Writers Guild of America Awards. He also has an extensive filmography and has won awards, including Golden Globes, Primetime Emmys, NAACP Image Awards and many others.
