Chino Pacas, Gabito Ballesteros Pay Homage to Lil Wayne on Explosive Single ‘Tunechi’
Chino Pacas honors one of his rap’s heroes, Lil Wayne, on his new song “Tunechi.” On Friday, the rising corrido star released the collab alongside Gabito Ballesteros, which sees them describing a high-maintenance love interest and name-checking the rap legend in the track’s title and its opening lyrics.
“A pink Rolex/Like tusi and her lipstick,” he sings to start. “A fucking party like Lil Wayne’s/She wants excess, she wants more,” Pacas sings.

Throughout the song, Ballesteros and Pacas exchange verses and drop subtle nods to some of Latin music’s biggest hits, including Peso Pluma’s “Lady Gaga” and Fuerza Régida’s “Sabor Fresa.” They even mention Karol G’s last album in the chorus: “Ma?ana será bonito si azules se mandan la clika en Paris.”
And Pacas shouts out Drake, who’s been supportive of his burgeoning career: “Bélico shit like Drake at the whorehouse.”
The video, directed by Edgar Esteves, sees the two musicians singing the corrido in an abandoned house where cash rains down and a stripper dances on a pole. Pacas teased the single last week, sharing a photo of him and Ballesteros in the studio and captioning the post, “We’re ready for the album… The Avengers came together.” (Fuerza Regida’s JOP — who has championed both artists — commented “My kids!! A romperla.”)
Pacas, the only Mexican music act to perform at Rolling Loud California this year, has been teasing a new album and even shared a photo of himself smoking a joint in the studio with Peso Pluma late last month. “It’s coming,” he captioned the post with CD emojis.
“Tunechi” marks Pacas’ first single of 2024 and it follows the massive success of his recent music: Last year, he released the Calle 24 collab “Apaga El Cel,” “Elvira” with Oscar Maydon and Ballesteros, and “Qué Onda” with Calle 24 and Fuerza Regida. Meanwhile, Ballesteros dropped “El Boss” with Natanael Cano and reimagined Son By Four’s “A Puro Dolor” earlier this year.
