Chris Hemsworth Gives a “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Audience Member a Bowl Haircut: See the Reaction!

Chris Hemsworth has a secret skill!

On Monday, Sept. 16, the actor, 41, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and gave one lucky audience member a bowl haircut.

Host Jimmy Kimmel, 56, introduced the segment by sharing a photo of Hemsworth's twin sons Sasha and Tristan, in which they were both rocking a bowl cut with a mullet-like back.

The Transformers One star explained that after Tristan had cut his hair himself, his other son asked him if he would give him a similar haircut. As a result, the two were both left with a style that has the hair being an even length from the front to the sides of the head while the back remains long.

Unlike Tristan, Sasha’s look also includes shaved sides.

"It’s a fashion in Australia," the father of three explained to Kimmel’s surprise.

Moments later, the two welcomed an audience member – named Liam – to the stage after he volunteered to have his hair cut by Hemsworth. To do the style, Hemsworth lightly wet Liam’s hair with a spray bottle before placing a metal bowl on top of his head and using it as a guide to chop the young man's long locks.

The trio made small talk as Hemsworth worked his magic, during which Liam shared that he is a student at University of California in Los Angeles and hopes that his hair will be a conversation starter – and potentially nab him a girlfriend.

Hemsworth and Kimmel joked around as the actor continued to cut the audience member’s hair. At one point, the host noted that the style was giving "Dumb and Dumber type of look."

The actor then brought out an electric shaver to shave the sides and accentuate the bowl-like style.

Towards the end, Hemsworth was then asked if his parents cut his hair when he was younger, to which he said, "Actually, this is where it came from. There's a photo of me somewhere with a bowl cut like this."

"Oh, and you decided to inflict the same pain on your own children?" Kimmel asked.

"It was upon request," the actor replied.

As the cut continued, Kimmel complimented Hemsworth on his technique while the actor admitted that he had never cut hair in front of a live audience before. In the end, Liam looked at the cut while using a hand mirror and proclaimed, "I have to move to Australia now!"

Last week, Hemsworth and his family attended the Australian premiere of Transformers One in Sydney, Australia where his sons showed off their creative haircuts. Hemsworth wore a gray suit with a gray T-shirt to the event, while his wife Elsa Pataky rocked a burgundy red jumpsuit.

Meanwhile, their two sons dressed down, with one wearing a blue button-down shirt and black pants and the other opting for a white shirt and blue jeans.
