Chris Stapleton will be musical guest on 'SNL' for a third time alongside host Ryan Gosling
"Saturday Night Live" has announced that country star Chris Stapleton will perform as the musical guest on April 13, which will be hosted by Ryan Gosling.
This will be Stapleton's third appearance on "SNL" as the musical guest; Gosling will also be hosting the show for the third time.
Stapleton's last "SNL" appearance in January 2018 featured a performance of "Midnight Train to Memphis" with a surprise guest collaboration with Sturgill Simpson.
This time around, Stapleton's "SNL" appearance comes following the release of his 2023 album "Higher" and only two days before his 46th birthday. Last month, he won two Grammy Awards for song "White Horse," making him a 10-time Grammy Award-winner and 20-time nominee.
Ahead of his 'Live from New York' performance, Stapleton will begin his upcoming North American tour on April 3. He will spend two nights in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena on August 8 and 9 with guests Marty Stuart and Nikki Lane.
To catch Stapleton and Gosling on "SNL" on April 13, tune in to NBC at 10:30 p.m. CST.
