Chrishell Stause Undergoes Surgery After Breast Implants Rupture

Chrishell Stause is getting real about plastic surgery.

The Selling Sunset star, 43, revealed that she recently underwent surgery after "a full body scan" discovered that both of her breast implants "were ruptured."

Chrishell explained that, while she hadn't felt any symptoms from the rupture, she decided to undergo corrective surgery because she "didn't like feeling" as if she might be "hurting [her] body in the long run."

"My first thought was fear, thinking about having to undergo surgery and if the rupture would lead to any complications," Chrishell wrote on Instagram Sept. 15 while shouting out Dr. Josef Hadeed. "They were able to remove all of the silicone and replace my 15-year old *vintage* implants."

The real estate agent clarified that she wasn't advocating for anyone to get plastic surgery, if that's not what they want. But she did want to make sure everyone prioritizes their health.

"Plastic surgery is a personal choice and I’m in no way encouraging anyone to change anything about their body," Chrishell explained. "If you do make that choice for yourself, it’s so important to stay on top of your health - I know many people could be living with this and have no idea."

She added, "I want to be fully open and transparent about my experience in the hopes it could help anyone else going through this."

Chrishell's health update comes shortly after the eighth season of Selling Sunset hit Netflix on Sept. 6 and resulted in dramatic fallout among the cast.

Now, she's seeking to create more balance to offset the impact that the show's "toxic" drama can have on her life.

"I have already like been working a lot on this side, to do hosting," she told E! News in an exclusive interview after the season's release. "It's finding that balance."

And, while she'd be open to doing some sort of travel show with her partner, G Flip, she'd be hesitant to work on any sort of project together that would require them to drum up inauthentic drama around their relationship.

"I don't want to be involved in something where you have to come up with drama for a show—because I'm in one," Chrishell said. "I wouldn't want to do that to my relationship.
