Despite what the court of public opinion believes, Sean “Diddy” Combs can surely rely on the support of his children, who have spoken up for the music mogul throughout his current legal woes. In an effort to highlight the Bad Boy founder’s more positive qualities amid his arrest and a series of lawsuits, son Christian “King” Combs will take over his father’s Instagram account to highlight his dad’s best qualities and achievements.

“Right now, I’m taking over my pop’s Instagram,” King Combs, 26, announced Wednesday (Nov 6) via a post shared to his father’s profile page. “We gon’ be posting videos, spreading good energy, and taking ya’ll down memory lane of all the positive things he did. So, stay tuned and watch this, let’s go!

He added, “We love you, pops, happy birthday,” as the music exec celebrated his 55th birthday on Nov 4 behind bars. Check out the post below.

He followed it up his first post within 15 minutes, sharing the music video for Puff Daddy hit, “All About The Benjamins.”

“My Pops motivation to making music is always to make us dance and feel good HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS !!!,” he captioned the clip, adding three dancing man emojis.

Christian was met with many wishing his father well, including one commenter who wrote, “Happy Gday Diddy … Black King … Praying for you and your Family! Those kids LOV YA.” Another supporter offered, “Happy birthday Diddy nobody is perfect,” while others dropped “Free Diddy” and similar messages on the page.

Others, however, felt the post to be ill-timed. “The timing of this is horrible, read the room,” wrote one follower, with others questioning why the young entertainer would leave the comment section open, allowing the criticism and off-color jokes to flow freely. Check out King’s first post to his father’s page below.
