Christie Brinkley, 65, and Daughter Sailor, 20, Walk the Runway Together at New York Fashion Week
Christie Brinkley and Sailor Brinkley-Cook enjoyed some mother-daughter modeling at New York Fashion Week.
The supermodel mom, who just turned 65 on Feb. 2, and her 20-year-old daughter Sailor (with ex-husband, architect Peter Cook) both walked the runway together at the Elie Tahari show on Thursday in New York City.
Brinkley wore an emerald velvet suit and matching scarf, while her look-a-like daughter sported a short, party-ready dress with embellished beaded sleeves and over-the-knee boots.
The duo high-fived as they passed each other on the catwalk, bringing high energy to the room.
Not only was it a milestone for the model-filled family, the runway show also marked a major milestone for the designer, who celebrated his 45th anniversary with his show.
Of course, Brinkley and Cook have long enjoyed participating in New York Fashion Week activities.
Last season, the mother-daughter duo attended Zimmermann and Cushnie, as well as the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party at the Plaza Hotel, in September 2018.
Sailor’s first appearance at Fashion Week, however, was in 14 years ago, when she attended the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show in February 2005 at only six years old.

Two years ago, Christie and Sailor, along with Alexa Ray Joel, posed together in bikinis for the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which Sailor called a “very empowering and liberating” experience.
As for Christie, it was her first time she returned to the famous magazine in 13 years.
“My first thought was, ‘At my age? No way!'” she told PEOPLE at the time. “When I turned 30, I was like, ‘This is the last time I’m posing in a bathing suit!’ When this issue comes out, I’ll be 63. I thought, ‘Those days are over.’ But to get to do it with my girls, I thought, ‘One last go!'”
