Christina Aguilera Claims Sabrina Carpenter As Her Honorary ‘Favorite’ Child: Watch
Christina Aguilera has two kids of her own, but she’s claiming Sabrina Carpenter as her third.
In a new TikTok shared by the “Genie in a Bottle” singer, the two pop stars are hanging out — or perhaps on a “mom-daughter” date. In the clip, the “Espresso” musician lip-synchs to an audio snippet seemingly from an episode of The Kardashians, in which Kylie Jenner says, “I’m obsessed with my mom.”

“That’s exactly what I’m saying, I’m her favorite,” Carpenter mouths along while Xtina nods emphatically. “We actually have a relationship like she has no other kids.”
“Obsessed,” Aguilera captioned the post, sprinkling in two heart emojis and tagging the Work It star.
Sharing the video on her own Instagram Story, Carpenter shared that the feeling is mutual. “I don’t think you understand … I’m obsessed,” she wrote.
The video comes ahead of the Burlesque star’s 25th-anniversary celebrations for her eponymous debut album, which she’ll commemorate by recording live studio re-imaginings of the LP’s hits for Spotify Anniversaries — including a duet with the “Please Please Please” singer, according to Rolling Stone. MGK is also slated to perform with Aguilera for the tribute.
In a recent interview with Billboard about the milestone, the “Beautiful” vocalist said she finds it “hard to believe” that 25 years have passed since she first topped the Billboard 200 with Christina Aguilera in 1999. “I’m most proud of how the album introduced me to the world and how well it was received,” she said. “I was young, but knew I wanted to make music that had depth, meaning and range – so this album provided the perfect launch pad for a career I’m forever grateful for.”
