Ciara Hits Tyla’s “Water” Challenge While Pregnant, The South African Artist Responds

Rising South African singer Tyla continues to receive support for her hit song, “Water.” As Chris Brown and a few other stars have already co-signed her talents, now Ciara has joined in on the fandom by making a video to the “Water” dance challenge.

Pregnant with her fourth child, CiCi effortlessly nailed the sultry dance moves to the Billboard 100 charting single in her bathroom.

“Up here tryin to move like Tyla with this bump… somebody come get my phone,” she captioned the clip, as Tyla commented, “Yesss Ma!!!”

Singer/songwriter Tank also put his own spin on the song recently as he sang the tune while playing the piano.

“@tyla ‘Water’ Such a vibe!!.. R&B MONEY,” he captioned the video. “Crazy !!! When it’s your time !!!” South African rapper Cassper Nyovest commented.

Tyla simply commented three red hearts to show her gratitude.

Back in February, Tyla was tapped to join Chris Brown on his Under The Influence European tour for one month. Upon the trek’s conclusion, Tyla took to her Instagram to thank Breezy for supporting her.

“Thank you so much to everyone I worked with on Chris Brown’s ‘Under the Influence Tour’!,” she captioned a photo of herself beaming from ear to ear. “Big Thank you to @chrisbrownofficial and his team… you guys made us feel so welcome so thank you and I’ve learnt so much! This was my first tour ever, I’m grateful for the huge platform and I’m never gonna forget it…”

Brown returned the love as he wrote, “THANK YOU @Tyla for an amazing tour! Had so much fun with you and your crew. AMAZING PEOPLE. Take over the world shawty.”

The track swapped spots with Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which held its lead on the list since Sept. 10, 2022.
