Cincinnati Music Festival reveals Thursday lineup, to feature hip-hop legends

The Cincinnati Music Festival is celebrating hip-hop for the second year in a row.

According to the event's Facebook page, the first night of the three-day July music festival will feature rap legends, such as MC Lyte and KRS-One.

Here's the full Thursday, July 25, lineup:

  • MC Lyte.

  • EPMD.

  • KRS-One.

  • Black Sheep.

  • DJ Vader.

Thursday's slate of performances will take place at Andrew J. Brady Music Center downtown. The festival continues Friday and Saturday at Paycor Stadium.

Friday, July 26, lineup:

  • Maxwell.

  • Ne-Yo.

  • Fantasia.

  • October London.

  • Lakeside.

Saturday, July 27, lineup:

  • New Edition featuring Bobby Brown.

  • Bell Biv DeVoe.

  • Ralph Tresvant.

  • Johnny Gill.

  • KEM.

  • SWV.

  • Stokley.

  • Another artist to be announced.

“We are thrilled to celebrate hip-hop music again at the Cincinnati Music Festival since last year’s concert was so successful," Joe Santangelo, the festival's producer, said in a press release. "Our Thursday night concert will kick off another great weekend of music.”

Tickets for the Thursday show go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.
