Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera’s relationship timeline
Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera enjoyed a decadelong romance that tragically ended with her recent death at the age of 61.
The couple first met in 2014 when Sandera was working at Eastwood’s property at the Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant before going public with their relationship the following year. They kept their relationship private, only appearing publicly together a handful or so times.
Eastwood, 94, known for his prolific dating history, said “I do” twice before his long-term relationship with Sandera, marrying model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1987 and then news anchor Dina Ruiz from 1996 to 2014.
The actor’s eight children come from several different women. He shares son Kyle Eastwood and daughter Alison Eastwood with Johnson, 93. Scott Eastwood and Kathryn Eastwood were born to Jacelyn Reeves. Kimber Lynn Eastwood is Roxanne Tunis’ child, and he welcomed Francesca Eastwood with actress Frances Fisher. His youngest, daughter Morgan, was born to ex-wife Ruiz, 59. The actor is also the father of daughter Laurie Murray, who was initially placed for adoption after her birth in 1953.
When Sandera and Eastwood’s relationship kicked off, she meshed herself into his large blended family, attending red carpets alongside his kids.
Following her death on July 18, Eastwood issued a rare public statement about his beloved partner.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.
The Post exclusively learned that Sandera died of a heart attack.

The immediate cause for Sandera’s sudden death was a cardiac arrhythmia, according to the death certificate obtained by The Post. A cardiac arrhythmia is an abnormality in the timing or pattern of the heartbeat. Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was outlined as an additional condition that led to her passing.
Despite the couple never getting officially married, Eastwood’s eight children treated Sandera as part of the family.
Morgan, 27, paid tribute to her father’s longtime partner on Sunday, sharing a photo of herself and her husband, Tanner Koopmans, with Eastwood and Sandera at her wedding last month.
“A devastating loss for our whole family,” Morgan wrote. “Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad
you will be greatly missed.”
