Clint Eastwood’s daughter Morgan reacts to his partner Christina Sandera’s ‘devastating’ death
Clint Eastwood’s youngest daughter mourned the death of the actor’s longtime partner, Christina Sandera.
Morgan Eastwood, 27, shared an Instagram Story tribute to Sandera, who recently died at the age of 61.
She posted a photo of herself and her husband, Tanner Koopmans, with Clint, 94, and Sandera at their wedding last month.
“A devastating loss for our whole family,” Morgan wrote in the tribute on Sunday.
“Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad
you will be greatly missed,” she added.
Clint was joined by Sandera at Morgan’s wedding at his 22-acre ranch in Carmel, California, on June 15.
The “Million Dollar Baby” star walked Morgan down the aisle. She’s currently pregnant with her first child.
Morgan’s mom Dina Ruiz, her stepdad Scott Fisher, and her seven siblings — Laurie Murray, 70, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, 60, Kyle Eastwood, 56, Alison Eastwood, 52, Scott Eastwood, 38, Kathryn Eastwood, 36, and Francesca Eastwood, 30 — were also at her wedding.
“It was just immediate family and their partners, close family friends and best friends we’ve known our whole lives growing up in Carmel,” Morgan told People about the nuptials.
Clint purchased the ranch where Morgan got married in 1986. He served as the mayor of Carmel from 1986 to 1988.
One month after the wedding, Clint announced that his longtime love had died on July 19.
The couple, who were together since 2014, walked their final red carpet together at AFI Fest in Hollywood in 2019.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” Clint said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter.
A cause of death has not been announced.
The Hollywood legend met Sandera when she was working as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel.
The pair’s relationship was low profile. However, Sandera did go with Clint to various Hollywood events over the years, including the red-carpet premieres for “Sully” in 2016, “The Mule” in 2018, “The 15:17 to Paris” in 2018 and “Richard Jewell” in 2019.
They also attended the 2015 Academy Awards when Clint’s film “American Sniper” was nominated for six Oscars.
Clint was married twice before his relationship with Sandera.
His first marriage was to model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984.
Then he was married to Ruiz, 59, from 1996 until 2014.
Clint was also in relationships with actresses Sondra Locke and Frances Fisher.
