A Closer Look At The “pgLang For Converse” Collaboration
pgLang has teamed up with Converse for a new sneaker collection, which sold out shortly after its release. The “pgLang for Converse” collaboration was issued on Monday (May 2) and featured two of Converse’s most iconic silhouettes—the Chuck 70 and the Pro Leather. Both shoe designs feature pgLang embossing.
Founded by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free in 2020, pgLang is described as a company driven by a mission to tell stories that transcend language and connect people through shared experiences. According to a press release, “pgLang for Converse embraces the unknown, celebrates what’s established, and looks ahead to what’s yet to be discovered to Create Next.”
