To celebrate the release of the much-anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked,” Stanley 1913 announced a Target-exclusive series of tumblers in Elphaba’s green and Glinda’s pink. Soon after they were available in stores, viral TikTok videos showed swarms of fans and customers grabbing them from the shelves. Now, they’re available at resale sites like eBay and Poshmark between $80 to under $150.

In “Wicked,” directed by Jon M. Chu, Ariana Grande plays Glinda the Good Witch, dressed in pretty pink, and Cynthia Erivo plays Elphaba, a witch with green skin who later becomes the Wicked Witch of the West. It debuts in theaters on Nov. 22.

As previously reported by WWD, the branded water tumbler has become the most talked-about accessory for 2024. For youth, popular hydration brands such as Yeti, Hydroflask and Stanley represent the cool kids of the next generation.

While the Stanley x Wicked Collection sold out, the brand has release other popular collaborations and limited-edition products in recent months. In September, the drinkware brand launched their limited-edition Barbie collection, with eight different designs that embraced Barbie’s iconic glamour across the decades (and one Quencher for Ken). In July, Olivia Rodrigo designed her own limited-edition Stanley design that was only available for 24 hours and by lottery. Her tumblers were lavender, scattered with red, silver and purple stars.

Target is boasting more than 150 “Wicked”-inspired products in store and online. Earlier this month, Target also launched an exclusive 30-piece “Wicked” clothing line designed by the film’s costume designer Paul Tazewell. There are sheer looks inspired by Glinda; darker textured wear that embody Elphaba; a cardigan based on Shiz University uniforms; and sweatshirts and T-shirts with the “Wicked” logo and “Defy Gravity” theme.
