A CNN interview with Cam’ron went down in flames on Monday night, ending with the rapper asking his team, “Who booked me for this joint?”

Cam’ron, whose full name is Cameron Giles, appeared on Abby Phillip’s NewsNight to discuss the ongoing developments surrounding Sean Diddy Combs, including the newly surfaced security footage of him attacking then-girlfriend Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

The problem? Cam’ron didn’t seem to be aware that he’d been booked to discuss the Diddy situation. He was more interested in plugging his product, an all-natural sexual supplement called HorsePower. In fact, Cam’ron couldn’t even make it through the interview without slurping down a jar of the good stuff on camera.

“Sorry,” he told Phillip after knocking it back. “I’m about to get some cheeks after this HorsePower joint.”

After offering a series of non-answers to Phillip about whether or not he “recognized” the man in the security footage, Cam’ron addressed someone from his team just off camera.

“Who the talent agent for this joint?” he asked. “Like, you think I be sitting around watching what Diddy doing? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to. Yo, who booked me for this joint?”

Sensing (correctly) that the interview was one wheel away from falling completely off the rails, Phillip thanked Cam’ron for his time and ended the segment.
