In Part 2 of the karate drama’a final season (all five episodes release Friday, Nov. 15 on Netflix, with the “finale event” hitting some time next year), we ride shotgun on a trip to Barcelona, Spain for the Sekai Taikai, “where Miyagi-Do will face new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?”
But as seen in the clip embedded above, Kreese is on location to make sure Miyagi-Do’s road to success is the toughest possible. Plus, a fresh batch of baddies look quite nefarious as well, as dojos from all around the world battle to be the best and baddest.
“The first thing that you’re going to notice is we’re not in the Valley anymore,” co-creator Hayden Schlossberg said in a statement on Tudum. “It’s a totally different environment. The competitive space is different from previous All Valley tournaments. There’s no crowd watching. This is a karate temple that they’re going to, where the only people in attendance are black belts or karate masters.”
If all of that wasn’t enough, Daniel, Chozen and Amanda unearthed a large box full of secrets from Miyagi’s past. What does that all mean and why did Miyagi hide his past from Daniel? Yep, we have a lot of questions heading into Part 2.
The streamer also released some brand-new photos from Part 2 which you can see below.
