Creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald took the stage before two episodes screened and surprised the crowd with news that the Part 2 premiere will drop on November 15. Fans will be able to see how the season continues two weeks early.
“You heard it here first. Send it to the internet. November 15. Same day as Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson. Netflix Fight Night. No undercard. Two main events. Let’s do it,” the trio shared.
Cobra Kai takes place more than 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament in The Karate Kid, with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William Zabka) — but now their families are also involved.
Season 6 picks up following Cobra Kai’s elimination from the Valley as senseis and students decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world karate championship.
