Colbert roasts Kanye for tweeting support of Trump
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert roasted Kanye West after he took to Twitter to voice his support for Donald Trump. On Wednesday morning, West posted several tweets about the President, even referring to him as his “brother.”
You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.

In response, Colbert replied, “Yes, we have the right to independent thought, and I independently think he has lost his mind.”

While West’s Trump tweets generally got mixed reactions, one very stable genius, chock-full of dragon energy, was a fan. President Trump retweeted West’s post, with a personal note:
Thank you Kanye, very cool! https://t.co/vRIC87M21X

Considering West is a megastar with diamonds for teeth, Colbert had no choice but to tip his hat to Trump for the endorsement. He said, “Congratulations to President Donald Trump on securing the coveted Kanye endorsement. Not easy to get. Right now, it’s just you and ‘Bill Cosby innocent!!!!!!!!!!'” Colbert was referring to West’s tweet endorsing Cosby after nearly 50 women accused him of rape.
