Universal has dated the film for May 15, 2026, landing it in the summer tentpole zone Spielberg practically created decades ago with such films as Jaws and Raiders of the Lost Ark. It would mark his fist major summer release in quite some time.
Domingo has been on quite a run that started last fall with his critically acclaim role in Netflix’s Rustin. The performance earned him several accolades including Oscar, BAFTA and SAG nominations. This summer he is earning similarly strong reviews for his dramatic performance in Sing Sing, which has already earned him early buzz for award season. Other credits include his Emmy winning role in HBO’s hit series Euphoria.
Domingo is represented by WME, Liebman Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello and Adams.
