Touring the country as a comic for nearly 30 years, he opened his own comedy club, Uptown Comedy Corner, in Atlanta’s Buckhead entertainment district in 1993, becoming the first Black comic to own his own venue in the city.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Military, Earthquake served in the United States Air Force after graduating from high school. He continues to be managed by Dave Becky at 3 Arts Entertainment.
