Shlesinger has released six Netflix specials, most recently 2022’s "Hot Forever" and "Elder Millennial" in 2018. The latter is the subject of her "fan-u-mentary," "Iliza Shlesinger: Over & Over," a behind-the-scenes look at the process of making one of her specials. Additionally, "The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show" premiered on Netflix in April 2020.
The New York-born, Dallas-raised 41-year-old's film career includes more Netflix ventures: writing, executive producing and starring in the now-streaming feature, "Good on Paper," and appearing opposite Mark Wahlberg in "Spenser Confidential." Also on her movie resume is the indie feature, "Pieces of a Woman," co-starring Shia LaBeouf and Vanessa Kirby.
