Comedian Margaret Cho is performing in Springfield. Here's what to know
Comedian, actress, musician and artist Margaret Cho is making her way to Springfield this November.
Cho will perform at the Blue Room Comedy Club on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the 18-and-up shows are on sale on the Blue Room Comedy Club website. Tickets are $35 for club seating and $55 for reserved seating.
Cho is best known for her stand-up comedy routines, which often critique social and political issues. In 2017, Rolling Stone named Cho as one of the 50 Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time. She has also appeared on "The Masked Singer," HBO's "High Maintenance," and Netflix's "Good on Paper" and "Over the Moon."
Cho's decades-long career was kickstarted in 2011 when she played Kim Jong-Un and Kim Jong-II in the television series "30 Rock." She also played Margaret Kim in "All-American Girl" and Erin in "Fire Island."
