Update: Nov. 20, 2024 at 11:50 a.m. ET:

After delivering a collaboration with so much buzz the release was shut down by police, the University of Oregon’s Division Street NIL collective has confirmed the release details for its next “What the Duck” Nike Dunk Low sneaker.

Once again being released through resale marketplace GOAT and donning Division Street’s “Ducks of a Feather” branding, the newest “What the Duck” Dunk Low Luxe is far more conservative in its coloring and material choices. The pair mixes premium leathers and suedes with reflective details and textured materials on the heels which nod to various Ducks uniforms.

Fittingly timed to release just ahead of Black Friday on Nov. 28, the stealthy sneaker is also inspired by the wardrobe Nike co-founder and Division Street leader Phil Knight, who is known for regularly stepping out in all-black outfits. Knight’s signature is hidden on the shoe to tie the theme together.

Like the previous Ducks of a Feather launches, proceeds from sales of the Division Street x Nike Dunk Low Luxe “What the Duck Alternate” will benefit participating Oregon student athletes.

The Division Street x Nike Dunk Low Luxe “What the Duck Alternate” launches Nov. 28 exclusively on GOAT for a retail price of $325. In addition, readers can expect more GOAT Black Friday 2024 promotions to be announced soon.

What We Originally Reported on Nov. 7, 2024

Nike and Division Street’s Oregon Ducks-themed “What the Duck” Dunks were one of the year’s most hyped-up releases, resulting in massive lines for the New York City release which was ultimately shut down by police. With the home and away-styled “What the Duck” pairs out of the way, it looks like a third installment of the Division Street x Nike Dunk Lows is joining the flock in the near future.

Leaked images shared on social media by @fuelkicks on X and @idontsellshoes on Instagram show a third Division Street x Nike Dunk Low featuring Ducks details in all-black. Like the sneakers released in October, the newly surfaced pair uses a mixture of textures and materials, but does not feature mismatched left and right shoes, so it’s unlikely it will be designated with the same “What the Duck” theme.

Nevertheless, the shoe combines numerous Oregon-related references including an embossed feather pattern at the heel and a cork insole which presumably reads “once a Duck, always a Duck.” Other materials include perforated leather paneling, patent leather, suede and elephant print.

Despite the all-black coloring, the new Division Street x Nike Dunk Low does come packaged with alternate green, yellow and neon shoelaces, giving wearers a chance to switch up the stealthy look. And like the “What the Duck” pairs, a rubber Ducks hangtag accompanies the shoe, this time in all-black.

Founded in 2021, Division Street is an NIL collective which was started by Nike co-founder Phil Knight and other Ducks alumni. It includes the Ducks of a Feather brand, which produces apparel and has previously worked on other sneaker collaborations with Nike. The shoes have been released through resale platform GOAT with proceeds benefiting Oregon student athletes.

Said to be differentiated as a Lux release, the triple-black Division Street x Nike Dunk Low Lux will reportedly come at a higher price than the “What the Duck” pairs, which were sold for $275 and labeled a Premium model. According to leaker @Brandon1an, the “Black/Black/Volt/Black” colorway is priced at $300, and could end up higher once it’s sold via GOAT.

This story will be updated with confirmed launch information once it’s been announced.
