‘The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin’ Renewed For Season 2 By Apple TV+
Apple TV+’s notorious highwayman is back.
The streamer has greenlighted a second season of Noel Fielding starrer The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, which will see another round of fantastical adventures for the lead.

In the irreverent retelling set in the 18th century, Turpin is the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship and great hair. Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavors, including a brush with celebrity.
The historical comedy’s first season also starred British comics including Ellie White, Dolly Wells and Mark Heap, and Apple said Season 2 will feature “a host of great British comedy talent.”
Written by Fielding, Richard Naylor and Jon Brittain, the series is produced by The Outlaws maker Big Talk Studios. It is executive produced by Kenton Allen, Fielding, Victoria Grew, Anthony Wilcox and Ben Palmer, while Naylor and Brittain are co-EPs. Palmer also directs.
The series is a rare example of an international comedy making it beyond Season 1 for Apple TV+. Only Rafe Spall starrer Trying, which launched its fourth season in May, has run for multiple seasons. Deadline revealed recently that insomnia comedy Still Up starring Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts, had been axed after one season.
