May 8—ROCHESTER — Country singer Billy Currington is making a stop in Rochester.
Billy Currington with Bryan Martin and Drew Green will perform at Mayo Civic Center on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 8 p.m.
Billy Currington's latest album, "Summer Forever," showcases his smooth, distinct voice through upbeat anthems and poignant ballads, reflecting his more than a decade-long musical journey.
Since his 2003 debut, Currington has achieved 11 No. 1 singles, including hits like "Good Directions" and "People Are Crazy," and earned multiple awards and Grammy nominations.
His career began in rural Georgia and driven by early musical influences, he moved to Nashville at 18. There, he quickly made a mark with his debut single "Walk a Little Straighter."
Over the years, he has consistently produced chart-toppers, contributing significantly to his albums, each reflecting his musical evolution and commitment to leaving listeners with a feeling of joy and peace.
