Country Singer Gary Allan Marries Longtime Love Molly Martin in 'Low-Key' Tennessee Ceremony (Exclusive)

Gary Allan has said "I do!"
The country music artist, 56, married his longtime love Molly Martin in a private ceremony in Tennessee on Feb. 5, attended by only an officiant and a photographer.
"We wanted something low-key that was representative of some of our favorite times together," Allan tells PEOPLE of the intimate nuptials.
"We had a private ceremony close to home, then ended the day with dinner and drinks with a few close friends," he continued, adding, "It could not have been a more perfect day!"
The wedding was held at the Sumner County mayor's office and officiated by mayor John C. Isbell himself. Afterwards, the newlyweds posed for photos at home, captured by Christy Dux Portraits.
The "Man to Man" singer donned a Roberto Cavalli suit for the occasion, and his bride wore an Yves Saint Laurent gown along with vintage YSL earrings from the 1990s.
She carried a bouquet designed by Nashville florist The Laughing Petal.
Allan and Martin's wedding came about spontaneously. The pair had been engaged for more than two years, and one day they decided to just go for it.
“Molly and I had been trying to find the right time and right spot to get married, and we just decided the time was now," Allan tells PEOPLE. "We just didn’t want to keep waiting."
He adds, "We may still do a bigger celebration later on, but for now we are happy to be husband and wife.”
Allan — who released his first studio album, Used Heart for Sale, in 1996 — has charted five No. 1 hits and garnered 14 Top 10 songs over his long career.
Back in August 2021, after debuting his 10th album, Ruthless, the musician opened up to PEOPLE about the challenges of staying fresh in the industry and continuing to crank out hits.
"The hardest thing about being in the music business for a long time is not getting jaded," he said at the time. "The only answer to, 'I don't hear it,' is, 'Then I got more.' That's all you can ever do. 'Never stop betting on me. I'll be right back with better.' That's always my attitude."

He also spoke about his unique slant on the country music genre, particularly with Ruthless, which features lots of drums, assertive guitar and his distinctive vocals.
"Even the songs that are dark have kind of a rock 'n roll poetry to them," Allan said. "There's nothing really sad. I think all of them are unfiltered and clever. I think it takes you everywhere. Those are the best records that take you on a journey of a little bit of everything."
