'Voice of a generation': Country star to perform in Peoria this fall. Here are details
PEORIA – Wynonna Judd will perform at the Peoria Civic Center Theater on Nov. 4.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Civic Center box office, which is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.
Named "the voice of a generation” by Rolling Stone magazine, Judd is one of the bestselling country musicians of all time. She earned three consecutive No. 1 hits with “She is His Only Need,” “I Saw The Light,” and “No one Else On Earth.” Judd followed her successful debut with the multi-platinum disc, "Tell Me Why," which produced the hits “Tell Me Why,” “Is It Over Yet,” “Rock Bottom,” and “Girls With Guitars.”
The stop in Peoria is part of a two-month, 15-city tour of the Midwest and southern United States. The tour will feature songs from Judd's first two solo albums performed track by track, and a finale of her other hits along with songs from The Judds.
