Do crab callers work? Wild Bill finds out on this week's 'Deadliest Catch'
As we enter week 3 of Deadliest Catch Season 14, Capt. Wild Bill Wichrowski’s Summer Bay is at the bottom of the crab count leader board. But as you see in this exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode, there may be hope for him yet. Bill decides to test the new and improved “crab caller,” an electronic device meant to attract king crab, using underwater sound.
His crew baits every other pot with a crab caller so he can compare the counts. Will he end up happy, like Jake Anderson after he let his pots soak 36 hours in Keith Colburn’s honey hole, or frustrated, like Sig Hansen, after he abandoned his hot spot to avoid company and started pulling blanks? Watch the clip to find out.
Deadliest Catch airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Discovery.
