Craig Morgan to headline the 2022 Brown County Fair. Here's who else will perform at the Grandstand
County star Craig Morgan will headline the Aug. 18 concert at the Brown County Fair.
He will be joined by singer-songwriter Danielle Bradbery and Callista Clark at the Larry Gerlach Grandstand. The announcement was made Thursday morning by fair officials.
Morgan has had 25 songs make the Billboard charts, including “Bonfire,” Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” "Wake Up Loving You” and “That's What I Love About Sunday."
"That's What I Love About Sunday" spent four weeks at No. 1 in 2005.
More recently, Morgan released his first new music in more than three years. The song "The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost" is a faith-themed tribute to his late son, Jerry. Jerry Greer was 19 when he died in July 2016 after falling off an inner tube in the Tennessee River.
Morgan has had 10 full-length releases in his career. He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008.
An Army veteran, he has made 16 trips overseas to perform for U.S. troops, according to promotional information.
Morgan also played at the 2007 Brown County Fair.
What to know about the Brown County Fair openers, Danielle Bradbery and Callista Clark
Danielle Bradbery has released two albums that include various genres of music. Her most recent effort, "In Between: The Collection," will come out this week.
Bradbery was the Season 4 winner of NBC's show "The Voice."
Her 2013 song, "The Heart of Dixie," climbed to No. 16 on the country charts. Other songs of hers include "Sway," "Friend Zone" and "Goodbye Summer" with Thomas Rhett.
In past years, she has been nominated by the Academy of County Music as female vocalist of the year and new female vocalist of the year.
Callista Clark's debut EP "Real to Me" was released in February 2021. The single "It's 'Cause I Am" made it to No. 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. She debuted at the Grand Ole Opry July 20, 2021.
When will tickets go on sale and how much will they cost?
Online ticket sales will go live March 21 at 8 a.m. on the fair website.
Three-day general admission passes for the Aug. 17, 18 and 20 concerts will cost $70 before Aug. 15 and $90 after. Three-day reserved tickets for those dates will be $90 until Aug. 15, then $110.
A four-day general admission pass, which includes the Aug. 19 rock show, will cost $100 until Aug. 15, then $120. Single concert general admission tickets will be $40 until Aug. 15, then $50.
