Ahead of her career retrospective documentary premiering this week, Cyndi Lauper has announced that she will embark on a farewell tour this fall.

The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, Lauper’s first major trek in over a decade, will visit theaters and arenas in 22 cities across North America, starting October 18 in Montreal and concluding December 5 in Chicago.

Along the way, Lauper will also stage her first-ever headlining show at her hometown, New York’s Madison Square Garden, on October 30, as well as gigs at San Francisco’s Chase Center, Los Angeles’ new Intuit Dome, and Austin’s Moody Center. Visit Live Nation for ticket on-sale information.

The announcement of Lauper’s farewell tour comes a day before Let the Canary Sing, a feature-length documentary about the “True Colors” singer, is set to debut on Paramount+ on June 4. Prior to its streaming premiere, Lauper visited CBS Sunday Morning to reflect on her career:
