What happens when four athletes, an ex-con and a few reality stars walk into a ballroom? Viewers will find out on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 33!

The pairs of professional dancers and celebrities competing in the new season were unveiled on “Good Morning America” Wednesday morning.

More from Variety

The day before the cast announcement, GLAAD revealed that former troupe member Ezra Sosa has been promoted to a pro for Season 33 — the first Latin dance pro featured in multiple years. He first joined the series in 2021 and it changed his professional and personal life.

“When I first joined the show, I had a huge sense of imposter syndrome because at the time, I wasn’t out… and it wasn’t until this year when I realized the power, the power of being fruity and the power of just truly just being yourself,” he said. “When I first joined the show, it was the first time I was in an environment where I truly felt accepted. That has a huge sense of me becoming the person I am today.”

He also said that JoJo Siwa gave him the courage to come out after they met when she competed.

This season, he will be paired with one of the more controversial celebrities of the group, Anna Delvey, best known for going to prison for fraud — a story that came to life in 2022 with the Netflix miniseries, “Inventing Anna.”

The pairs will be judged by the returning panel of ballroom experts, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro return as hosts.
