‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33 cast revealed: Eric Roberts, Anna Delvey, Dwight Howard and more
We’re giving this lineup a 10.
Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” is swiftly approaching, and ahead of the show’s Sept. 17 premiere, the star-studded cast list was officially revealed on Good Morning America Wednesday.
The celebrities and their pro partners competing on this season are:
“Beverly Hills 90210” star Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov.
“The Bachelor” star Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson.
NBA player Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach.
Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy.
“Pretty Little Liars” actress Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong.
Actor Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart.
Retired NFL star Danny Amendola and Witney Carson.
Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko.
“Bachelorette” star Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber.
“Family Matters” actor Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater.
Meanwhile, judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are also returning to the ABC show. The coveted Mirror Ball trophy has also been renamed the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in honor of the late head judge, who died in 2023 at age 78 from bone cancer.
When it comes to the Season 33 hosts, viewers will see Alfonso Ribeiro return for his third year alongside Julianne Hough, who took over for Tyra Banks in Season 32.
On Aug. 30, Hough, 36, took to Instagram to share her excitement for the upcoming season. Beneath a video of herself and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum having fun during a photo shoot, Hough wrote, “Could I be any luckier?! Best co-host ever! Is it Sept. 17th yet?”
Audiences are also saying hello to familiar faces and goodbye (for now) to some of the long-standing pros.
Pro Peta Murgatroyd recently revealed she is taking a break from the show.
“In terms of me,” she began in an Aug. 29 Instagram Live, “‘Dancing With the Stars’, guys, I’m sorry, it’s not this season. It’s just too soon.”
Murgatroyd, 38, gave birth to her and husband Maks Chmerkovskiy’s baby boy Milan in July. The couple also share Shai, 7, and Rio, 13 months.
During Season 32, the mom of three was paired with Barry Williams and began filming just 10 weeks after giving birth to Rio. At the time, she couldn’t wait to hit the ballroom again.
“I miss dance. I miss the show,” Murgatroyd told E! News in September 2023. “It’s only one time a year. And if I can make it work with getting people in to help me out with looking after the kids for a few hours a day, then I’m gonna do it.”
On the other hand, Witney Carson announced she’s waltzing back into the competition after a two-year hiatus.
The 30-year-old surprised her followers with the news that she’s now ready to cha-cha.
“I am back on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ and I cannot wait to get back on that dance floor,” Carson gushed in an Instagram video on Aug. 29. “Just you wait until you meet my partner. You guys are going to die.”
The influencer originally gave her dancing shoes a rest during Season 29, after she gave birth to her and her husband Carson McAllister’s son Jet in 2021.
Carson came back and placed third with Wayne Brady for Season 31 in 2022.
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their excitement, with one user writing, “THE QUEEN IS BACK.”
