Dancing With the Stars: Witney Carson Returning as Pro for Season 33
Witney Carson has her eyes on the Dancing With the Stars prize once again.
Carson, who sat out last year’s cycle of Dancing to spend time with her family, announced on Thursday that she’ll be back in the ballroom as a pro competitor for Season 33.

“I am back on Dancing With the Stars, and I cannot wait to get back on the dance floor,” she said in a video posted to Instagram. “Just you wait until you meet my partner. You guys are going to die.”
Carson first broke out as a contestant on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, and she’s been a staple of Dancing With the Stars‘ pro roster since 2014, when she joined the cast for Season 18. She has competed on all but two seasons since then, and won the Mirrorball trophy with Alfonso Ribeiro (who now co-hosts DWTS) in Season 19.
Dancing‘s Season 33 cast is still largely a mystery, but Paris Olympics breakout Stephen Nedoroscik (aka “pommel horse guy”) was revealed as the first celebrity contestant earlier this month. The full cast will be unveiled Wednesday, Sept. 4, on Good Morning America.
Dancing With the Stars returns Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 8/7c on ABC. Are you happy to have Carson back? Any guesses on who she might be dancing with? Tell us below!
