'Dancing With the Stars' fans left fuming over double elimination results
Monday’s semifinal of Dancing With the Stars shocked some viewers after two popular couples were eliminated. Despite receiving perfect scores earlier in the evening, Johnny Weir and Skai Jackson will not be moving on to the finals.
Weir and partner Britt Stewart started the night with a lovely salsa, which earned them all nines from the judges. Later in the show, the couple got a perfect score from the judges for a jazz dance.
Just like Weir, Jackson and partner Alan Bersten opened the evening with nines from all the judges for her cha-cha. She followed it up with a perfect score on her Viennese waltz.
Fans were upset that both stars were eliminated. Especially because many felt Nelly should not have advanced.

While it is true that Nelly struggled a little more than Weir and Jackson throughout the season, he also got a perfect score for his jive on Monday evening. Given lower scores during the season, it is also obvious that he is a fan favorite.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
