Danny Trejo will attend Grand Rapids Comic-Con, organizers say
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Visitors to Grand Rapids Comic-Con this year may see a familiar face.
Actor Danny Trejo will be attending the show on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16, organizers say. The event will be held at the DeVos Place and runs through Nov. 17.
Trejo has appeared in movies such as “Runaway Train,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” “Predators,” “The Replacement Killers,” “Heat” and “Halloween.” He was a recurring character on “Sons of Anarchy.”
“We are thrilled that Danny will be attending our show,” said event director and co-owner Mark Hodges. “Danny is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood today and has amassed an impressive roster of memorable roles. He is also incredibly philanthropic and his personal story is inspirational. We are pleased that he accepted our invitation.”
