Date announced for Chiefs Hallmark movie premiere

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Time to save the date Chiefs Kingdom!

Hallmark announced Thursday that the premiere date for its movie “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” will air on Saturday, November 30, at 7 p.m. CT.

The film is part of Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas.

Filming for the movie took place back in July at Kansas City locations, including GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and Independence Square in downtown Independence, Missouri.

Tyler Hynes (Shifting Gears, Three Wise Men and a Baby), Hunter King (Two Scoops of Italy, The Santa Summit) and Ed Begley Jr. (Young Sheldon, Better Call Saul) will star in the new film.

The movie will center around a woman played by actress Hunter King and her want to get her family to win a fan of the year contest.

But that’s in the hands of the director of fans engagement, played by Hynes.

As they spend time together, things take a turn when a lucky Chiefs hat belonging to her grandfather, played by Begley Jr., disappears.
